Wake me up when September ends

September's always been the best moment to wander around the city checking out exhibitions –it's not that hot anymore, tourists have gone back home and exhibitions are all about to finish. I always put together a list so I don’t miss a single one (which happens constantly, as you know). It’d be really interesting if you readers of my blog (love to say that) decided to check them as well and actually say something about it here. A simple “I went there and I liked it” or “I think it's plain poo” will be good. Come on, I know you’re there so say something!

Anyway, here’s the list of where to go and what to see when it gets too cold to stay at the beach:

Galería Malborough presents an interesting proposal until September 9th: Plegats (meaning folded), by David Rodríguez Caballero looks pretty risky and interesting. Why go? Just because it sounds brilliant to try and dissolve the lines between painting and sculpture and see what it feels like!

Fundació Sunyol really knows what to do when you’ve done it all. With Col·loquis (talks) they try to present a different approach to their holdings, bringing both similarities and differences face to face. I wonder how I turned out –will it really be as ironic, new, innovative and cool as it should be? We’ll have time to check up to 25th September.

La Virreina is presenting Valérie Mréjen’s La Place de la Condorde, where she uses literature, video and photography just to focus her attention on language itself. This one will be open untill September the 6th so we all should hurry up: it really looks like it could be fun, interesting and even useful.

Eat me Alice by Luis Vidal is Mito Gallery’s new proposal. Don’t know anything about it and I actually don’t want to. That is my blind-date-like proposal for this month.

And that's about it; let's see if we all can discuss it later on. Enjoy what's left of the summer!

---------------------------------------------------------
